What if there is nowhere to arrive on the spiritual path?
For many years, I felt that I was going somewhere.
That I still needed to work on myself.
Understand something.
Heal something.
Stop being afraid.
Go deeper.
And that one day, the moment would finally come…
When I am ready.
When I become more conscious.
When I trust more.
When I become more humble.
When I finally get “there.”
But lately, I have started asking myself:
Where exactly is “there”?
We can spend years searching.
Meditating.
Practicing yoga.
Reading spiritual books.
Attending ceremonies and retreats.
Learning different techniques.
Trying to understand ourselves more deeply.
All of these things can be beautiful tools. They have given me so much in my own life.

And by living it, I don’t mean walking around telling people everything we have learned.
I mean something much quieter.
Who am I when nobody is watching?
How do I think?
How do I treat someone from whom I need nothing?
Can I feel grateful even when no good news has arrived?
Can I smile even when nothing extraordinary has happened?
Can I live this minute, instead of constantly waiting for a better future version of myself and my life?
Maybe spirituality isn’t something we eventually achieve.
Maybe it is much closer than we think.
And perhaps life doesn’t begin when we are finally ready.
Perhaps it has already begun.
In my newest article, I share a more personal reflection on my journey through plant medicine, yoga and meditation—and what began to change when I stopped searching for the next thing.
It changed the way I understand spirituality, humility, God, and even the meaning of the words spiritual path.
