Setu Bandha

“You have to learn when practising the asanas that you have to fill the container of the body with the Self without leaving any space in between. The moment you experience this, then that period of time is a divine time. Divinity does not bring division. To understand this union in division is very subtle. Hence observe carefully while practising. I repeat again my words:
‘Consciousness is the needle, the eye of the needle is the intelligence, the mind is the head of the thread which you sharpen in the beginning to push into the eye of the needle’. With this insertion into the intelligence the mind connects the bahiranga (outer body), with the antaranga (inner body) and both disappear from the scene for the Self to act directly.”
