Does the jailed balloon technique reduce complexity and facilitate rewiring of the stent?

The innovation lies in transforming the stent balloon into a temporary tool for carina protection and reshaping, enabling a two-stent strategy with complete ostial coverage of the side branch, less deformed metal in the neocarina, and potentially easier recrossing. The technique appears promising.

In bifurcated LM, if the goal is to optimize LCX, this paper favors KBI, especially a sequential + simultaneous combined strategy, over POT alone or isolated SB dilation.

This study is very interesting for distal LM treated with provisional, but it should be read for what it is: a computational hypothesis-generating study, not a clinical trial, which I hope will be conducted in the future.
