LARGE FUSIFORM COMPLEX ANEURYSM
MIDDLE CEREBRAL ARTERY ANEURYSM associated with an AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation)
A 60 years old male with a known cerebral AVM. He presented to the ER with the worst headache of his life, nausea and vomiting, and was found to have a ruptured MCA aneurysm. The aneurysm is complex, large, fusiform, with a large thalamostriate perforator artery coming out of the dome.
We decided for endovascular reconstruction with flow diverter stent (Silk) and coiling.
