⁣I’ve just completed training and am excited to offer it to you all!⠀

What is Brainspotting, you might ask?⠀

It’s relatively new and rather revolutionary in its approach to healing. It uses both mind and body to tap into the brain’s innate ability to heal itself, helping you process and recover from emotional and physical pain, trauma, and other challenging symptoms.⠀

Unlike traditional talk therapy, Brainspotting delves deep into the neurological roots of emotional distress and unresolved issues. What sets it apart is its trust in the brain to heal itself, creating the right environment for that process. Just like the immune system heals a cut on our skin, our nervous system can heal emotional distress with the right support.⠀

Brainspotting was developed from EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Similar to EMDR, it uses eye positions, known as “Brainspots,” which are connected to areas of the brain that store emotion. When a Brainspot is located—often identified by reflexive responses like eye twitches or facial expressions—the therapist helps the client focus on it. This focus allows the brain to process and release the stored emotional and physical distress, leading to healing.⠀

We usually enhance this method with bilateral sound, which involves alternating sounds in each ear to boost the brain’s processing abilities. Brainspotting engages the deep parts of the brain and body, particularly the autonomic and limbic systems, leading to profound psychological and physical healing.⠀
Overall, Brainspotting is a gentle yet powerful approach that supports the brain and body in overcoming trauma and pain, often leading to significant psychological, emotional, and physical healing.⠀

Brei takes the time to make each session the best it can be, and is a very open, kind and understanding person. Her enthusiasm for hypnosis is really evident during the sessions. I can't imagine a better person for clients who are new to hypnosis, as I was. Highly recommended!! 🥸 Anonymous client You can see more reviews on my Google listing

Hypnosis allows us to move beyond the conscious mind, and into the subconscious.

The subconscious is over 95 percent of our mind. Almost all of our decisions, emotions, behaviors, and thoughts are directed by the subconscious.

If you’ve ever ‘consciously’ wanted to make a change or feel a certain way but you experienced self sabotage, procrastination, anxiety, or even overwhelming fatigue at the idea - then you’ve experienced the power of the subconscious.

Hypnosis allows us to connect and work harmoniously with the subconscious.

I practice the most comprehensive form of hypnotherapy called integrative hypno-psychotherapy. .
There are lots of different types of psychotherapy available and different types work best for different people and issues.

With integrative hypno-psychotherapy we integrate elements of different psychotherapies together to best meet each client’s unique case.

These are then delivered in the hypnotic state so that the whole mind is treated, both the conscious and subconscious.

Some of the psychotherapies I use include:

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with enhancements
• Therapeutic Mindfulness
• Gestalt therapy (unfinished business, object association, direct rehearsed experience, integration of conflicting feelings)
• Parts Therapy (sub-personalities and ego states)
• Psychoanalysis (a modified form of Free Association)
• Psycho-synthesis (witnessing and self-development)
• NLP (various solution focused brief strategies)
• Trancework – (suggestions therapy and analytic therapy)
• Regression work
If you’re curious about hypnotherapy, send me a DM.
