Hi friends! I’m Mikaela, founder of Evolve Retreats. Movement has always been my way of connecting to my inner wisdom. I graduated with 250hrs of Yoga training.

I guide meaningful experiences for those seeking clarity, inspiration and a reawakening of joy on their path of self-discovery. My dedicated practice of yoga, both on and off the mat, has been life-altering and continues to evolve as I do! I have an extra 100hrs in Yin Yoga and Myofascial release. I have been teaching for a decade now, and have taught at multiple studios in Vancouver, BC (Yyoga, S

emperviva, Jaybird, and Lagree West - megaformer/ pilates inspired) as well as here, online! I lead corporate yoga/mindfulness events and I am the founder of EVOLVE Retreats.

These photos from last summer’s Bowen Island retreat instantly make me exhale. ✨

Every time I look back on this experience, I’m reminded how special this place is. Nestled in the rainforest, surrounded by nature, and with the opportunity to include the Mist Thermal Sanctuary contrast circuit as part of our five-day journey, it creates such a beautiful rhythm for slowing down and making yourself the priority.

I can’t wait to gather here again with our August group. 🤍

We’ve been hosting here since 2022, sharing both summer and autumn Evolve retreat experiences, and each time it truly feels like coming home.

Tucked away in the rainforest, surrounded by the mountains and ocean, freshwater lakes nearby, deer meandering through the property, and sometimes even the resident owl swooping by, it’s such a special place to land.

This space supports the rhythm of the retreat in so many beautiful ways. It invites us to slow down, to listen, to breathe a little deeper, and settle into the Evolve journey together.

What began as a single retreat in 2019 has grown into a beautiful community, with 28+ retreats shared together over the past seven years. 🦋

While the destinations continue to inspire us, it’s the power of collective practice and collective growth that keeps us coming back. Gathering with shared intentions reminds us that we’re not meant to walk this path alone. And when we come together with shared intentions, with curiosity and with HEART, we explore what it truly means to live our yoga and give ourselves the space to boldly step into what’s next for us.
