Better hearing is about more than technology. It's about people.

At 20dB Hearing, we believe the right hearing solution starts with understanding each person's needs, lifestyle and listening goals.

Through our work with Unitron, we connect people with hearing technology while keeping professional guidance and individual needs at the centre of the journey.

Because the goal isn't simply to hear more. It's to feel more connected to the moments that matter.

Can you hear someone speaking but still struggle to understand what they're saying?

Yes.

Hearing a sound and understanding what that sound means aren't always the same thing.

Someone may be able to detect that a person is speaking, but still find it difficult to make out the words clearly.

This is one reason why simply asking, "Can you hear me?" doesn't always tell the whole story.

Hearing is also about understanding.

And that distinction matters when talking about someone's everyday communication.

Some of life's best moments are the simplest ones.

The laughter around the dinner table. The stories we hear over and over again. The little jokes that bring the whole family together.

These moments may seem ordinary, but they're often the ones we remember most.

At 20dB Hearing, we believe hearing care is about more than hearing sounds. It's about staying connected to the people we love and being part of the moments that matter.

Because every laugh, every story and every conversation is worth hearing.

Hear better. Live better.

What makes a good audiologist?

Is it knowledge?

Experience?

Being a good listener?

Or simply taking the time to understand the person sitting in front of you?

We asked our audiologists what they think.

Their answers may be different, but one thing comes through clearly: hearing care is about people.

Behind every assessment, every recommendation and every follow-up is a person with their own needs, routines and experiences.

Ever finished a long conversation and felt completely exhausted?

Listening can take more effort than we realise, especially when someone has to concentrate harder to follow what is being said.

It can mean constantly focusing, filling in missing information and trying to keep up with the conversation.

And after doing that for hours, it's understandable that someone may feel mentally tired.

Hearing isn't always about whether you can hear a sound.

Sometimes, it's about how much effort it takes to understand it.

What makes a hearing aid right for you?

It isn't necessarily the newest model or the one with the longest list of features.

The right solution depends on the person using it.

Your hearing profile, the environments you spend time in, the people you communicate with and the things you do every day can all influence what may work best for you.

That's why choosing hearing technology should start with understanding your needs.

Because the best hearing solution isn't necessarily the one with the most features.

It's the one that makes sense for your life.
