A meaningful session focused on trauma, bringing together our orthopaedic specialists and Master’s students from KPJ Healthcare University (KPJU) for an exchange of clinical knowledge and research.
Organised by the Resident Consultants of Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital, the session was led by Dr. Kamalnizat Ibrahim, our Orthopaedic Surgeon, and attended by our Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dato’ Dr. Syed Abdul Latiff Alsagoff, DSNS, JSD, Dato’ Dr. Abdul Wahab Abdul Ghani, Dr. Azammuddin Alias and Dr. Sheriman Mohammad, together with Dr. Muhammad Rahmani Jaffar, our Sports Medicine Consultant; Dr. Muhammad Fadhil Mat Salleh, our General Orthopaedic, Joint Replacement and Robotic Surgeon; and Dr. Mohamad Hilmi Mohamad Nazarallah, our Sessional Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.
The Master’s students presented their research on the Review of Operative Aspects of Syndesmotic Screw by Dr. Noor Shafika Abd Hamid, Damage Control Orthopaedics for Major Fractures by Dr. Syahmi Rozman, and Bassett Ligament in Ankle Injury by Dr. Kevin Kong.
Sessions like this encourage knowledge sharing, research and collaboration across the KPJ Health System, supporting continuous learning and the advancement of orthopaedic care.
