When is your last dental check up appointment?
We should have regular dental check up every 6 months. However, if you have the following problems, you probably need more frequent dental visits :
1. Bad oral hygiene ( with plaque & thick calculus build-up )
2. Gum disease ( periodontitis)
3. Frequent cavities in the past
4. Heavy smoker
“I don’t care about the cavities, broken teeth, gum disease, or tartar… I just want them whiter.” 😅
As dentists, we’ve all heard some version of this.
A brighter smile starts with a healthy foundation. Whitening can improve the color of your teeth, but it can’t fix decay, periodontal disease, missing teeth, or failing restorations.
Treat the disease first. Then make the smile shine. ✨
