❓ Do you know what an aneurysm is?
Many people still don’t, and that’s why it’s a silent threat no one pays attention to.
Let’s see what our Consultant Vascular Surgeon Assoc. Prof. Dr. Edward Choke has to say. 👇🏼
An aneurysm is a bulge in a blood vessel wall, like a balloon stretched too thin. It can grow quietly for years without symptoms, only discovered by chance during scans. But if it ruptures, it can cause massive internal bleeding and sudden death.
Conditions like this are among the things we at the Aorta Centre, Northern Heart Hospital Penang focus on, through screening, prevention, and advanced minimally invasive treatment.
