Happy 69th Independence Day, Malaysia!

On this special day, 31 August 2026, the Bethel Home family gathered together with our residents and staff to wave the Jalur Gemilang and celebrate the freedom and blessings of our beloved nation. 🇲🇾❤️

As we waved our flags, we were reminded to be thankful for the country God has given us — a nation blessed with diversity, different cultures, languages, and traditions.

🙏 Today, we pray for Malaysia:
May God bless our nation with peace, unity, wisdom and righteousness.
May He protect our country and guide our leaders.
May there be harmony among all races and communities.
May Malaysia continue to be a place where people care for one another, especially the elderly, the poor, the weak, and those in need.

At Bethel Home, we believe that every person deserves dignity, love and care. May we continue to share God’s love and be a blessing to those around us.

Every Thursday 4pm, we have Hokkien church gathering, Pastor Patrick and wife, Angie are here to minister to the elderly, sing with them, teach the word of God, pray for them and lastly give them some snacks. For God so loved the world, not neglecting the old.., God is good all the time!

CNY 1st day, blessings came. Our senior residents and staffs had a special meal of chicken chop that sponsored by Miss Bee... 大年初一，我们享受鸡扒，福气到，人人笑！

Yesterday, for the first time, we were so blessed to receive "phoon choy" for our residents and workers at Bethel Home. Thank you Juliana Liew for your kind gesture to bring cheers and we have the privilege to have Chinese New year festive mood so early. (But... the old people seemed not enjoy the abalone.) At least-lah they have a chance to taste n try. They are not left behind.
