🇲🇾✨ Little Hands, Big Merdeka Spirit! ✨🇲🇾
The Merdeka spirit is shining bright at Smilestone!
In celebration of Merdeka Month, our Play Group children enjoyed a variety of fun and engaging Merdeka-themed activities!
The children had the opportunity to pull up the Malaysian flag, wave the Jalur Gemilang and take part in several exciting Merdeka-themed games. Through these activities, they explored, moved, played and participated while enjoying the festive Merdeka atmosphere.
Beyond the fun, these activities also helped the children develop important skills such as:
✨ Gross Motor Skills – through movement-based games and waving the Jalur Gemilang.
✨ Fine Motor Skills – through holding, pulling and handling the flag.
✨ Attention & Following Instructions – by listening to instructions and participating in different games.
✨ Social Interaction – by communicating, taking turns and participating alongside others.
Most importantly, the children were able to learn through play while experiencing the joy and spirit of Merdeka. Their smiles, excitement and enthusiasm made the celebration extra special! 🌟
It was a wonderful opportunity for our little ones to learn about the Jalur Gemilang, Malaysian spirit and the meaning of celebrating Merdeka in a fun and age-appropriate way. 🇲🇾✨
