A Sweet Milestone for Community Health!
The SweetCheck Campaign Celebration for World Diabetes Day 2024 was an extraordinary success, demonstrating the incredible power of community collaboration! With everyone’s effort, we achieved an outstanding milestone of conducting over 3,050 blood glucose screenings, earning a proud place in the Malaysia Book of Records! 🏆
A special thank you to YB Daniel Gooi 魏子森, Penang State EXCO for Youth, Sports, and Health, and YB Ong Ah Teong 王耶宗 , ADUN Batu Lanchang, for your unwavering support and encouragement. Your presence made this achievement even more impactful for our community.
We’re also deeply grateful to The Prestige Hotel for lighting up their building in blue to raise awareness for diabetes, together with Komtar, Penang City Hall, Penang Town Hall and Penang Setia SPICE. . This powerful visual initiative brought attention to our cause and symbolized hope and unity in the fight against diabetes.
A big shoutout to the three vibrant markets—Batu Lanchang Food Court and Market, Perak Road Market, and Jelutong Market—for helping us connect with the community and draw such an incredible crowd to achieve this record.
