Public Holiday Notice/ 公定假日通知

May this Lunar New Year bring exciting opportunities and endless joy, just like the horse’s adventurous spirit.

In conjunction with Lunar New Year, our clinic will be closed from 16.02.2026 (Monday) till 20.02.2026 (Friday). Clinic services will be resumed back on 21.02.2026 (Saturday). Deliveries and emergency services will be operating as usual. Sorry for any inconvenience. Happy Lunar New Year! 🧧🧧🧧🍊🍊🍊

孕期接种RSV疫苗（如Abrysvo®）是一种安全有效的策略，通过在孕24-36周（最好在32-36周）接种，使母体产生抗体通过胎盘传给新生儿，为出生后的婴儿提供长达6个月的保护，显著降低他们因RSV引发的重症肺炎和住院风险，且通常与其他孕期疫苗如流感、百日咳疫苗可同时接种，是保护婴儿免受高危RSV感染的推荐方法之一。

The RSV vaccine (Abrysvo) is recommended during pregnancy, ideally between weeks 32 and 36, to pass protective antibodies to the newborn, guarding them against severe RSV in their first months when they're most vulnerable. This maternal vaccination works by creating antibodies that cross the placenta, offering protection for up to six months, similar to the Tdap vaccine for whooping cough. It's a key part of prenatal care to prevent serious illness in infants, with timing around week 28 often suggested for optimal antibody development.

子宫摘除术通常用于以下情况:
良性疾病:
子宫肌瘤：子宫肌瘤是子宫内良性肿瘤，可能导致月经过多、盆腔疼痛和压迫感等症状。
子宫内膜异位症：子宫内膜组织生长在子宫以外的部位，可能引起慢性盆腔疼痛和月经不调等症状。
子宫脱垂：子宫从正常位置下降到阴道内，可能导致不适、压力感和尿失禁等症状。
子宫腺肌症：子宫内膜组织生长到子宫肌肉层，可能导致月经过多和疼痛。
异常子宫出血：当月经量过多或不规则且对其他治疗方法没有反应时，可能需要子宫切除术。

Hysterectomy is surgery to remove a woman's womb (uterus). The uterus is a hollow muscular organ that nourishes the developing baby during pregnancy. You may have all or part of the uterus removed during a hysterectomy. The fallopian tubes and ovaries may also be removed.

There are many reasons a woman may need a hysterectomy, including:

Adenomyosis, a condition that causes heavy, painful periods
Cancer of the uterus, most often endometrial cancer
Cancer of the cervix or changes in the cervix called cervical dysplasia that may lead to cancer
Cancer of the o***y
Long-term (chronic) pelvic pain
Severe endometriosis that does not get better with other treatments
Severe, long-term va**nal bleeding that is not controlled with other treatments
Slipping of the uterus into the va**na (uterine prolapse)
Tumors in the uterus, such as uterine fibroids
Uncontrolled bleeding during childbirth
Severe infection involving the uterus (for example, pelvic inflammatory disease)
