🕉️ Honoring the Lineage of Yoga 🕉️

From the wisdom of Sri Krishnamacharya emerged many great teachers who shaped modern yoga for the world.

Alongside this lineage, great masters such as Sri B.K.S. Iyengar, Sri T.K.V. Desikachar, and Sri B.N.S. Iyengar carried forward the teachings in their own unique ways while preserving the essence of yoga.

As practitioners, we may follow different paths, methods, and traditions, but our roots remain the same. True yoga is not about titles, popularity, or certifications—it is about sincere practice, discipline, humility, self-transformation, and devotion.

Remembering the late Sri Sharath Jois, whose dedication inspired thousands around the world:

“Practice and all is coming.”

May we honor our teachers not only through words but through daily sadhana.

*The Journey of the Mind & the True Meaning of Yoga*

No matter what we carry in this material world, nothing will stay forever in our journey of life.
That is why first we must understand what Yoga truly means — not only physical postures, but the understanding of life, mind, and consciousness.

Through the pulan (senses), the outer world enters the human system.
What we continuously see, hear, touch, taste, and experience slowly becomes ennam (thoughts).

When those thoughts are repeated again and again, they become aasai (desire and attachment).
As attachment grows stronger, it slowly begins to control the manas (mind).

Then the mind starts creating imagination, expectations, fear, ego, comparison, emotions, and endless drama.
Slowly, human beings become trapped in the same cycle again and again.

That is why Yoga teaches not only body practice, but also awareness, discipline, sense control, observation of thoughts, and mastery over the mind.

Bhakti Margam teaches devotion.
Jnana Margam teaches wisdom.
Yoga Margam teaches union and inner discipline.

A human being studies many stages in worldly life — nursery, school, university, career — to achieve outer success.
But very few learn how to understand the inner life they are carrying within themselves.

Do not become lost in movies, social media, fantasies, comparison, and worldly drama.
The more the mind runs outside, the more it loses peace inside.

Real freedom begins when awareness becomes stronger than desire.
Real Yoga begins when the human learns to observe the mind instead of becoming a slave to it.

Why are you making children practise yoga postures so strictly? What benefit will they gain from this in the future?

:It’s not “hard practice” — it’s foundation building at the deepest level.

In a world full of distractions, comfort, and instant gratification, children are slowly losing the ability to focus, stay calm, and stay committed. Yoga brings them back to their center.

When we train them strictly, it is not to control them —
it is to help them discover control within themselves.

Every posture they hold is not just physical…
it is a lesson in discipline, patience, breath awareness, and mental stillness.

When their body trembles and they don’t give up —
they are learning resilience.
When their mind wants to escape but they stay —
they are building focus.
When they fall and try again —
they are developing inner strength and courage.

This is what will shape their future.

Not just marks in school…
but the ability to:

* Handle stress without breaking
* Stay focused in a distracted world
* Control emotions instead of reacting blindly
* Stand strong even when life becomes difficult

Flexibility is temporary.
Achievements are temporary.

But character, discipline, and inner stability — that is lifelong power.

So no… it is not “too hard.”

👉 It is necessary.

Because we are not raising children just to grow…
we are guiding them to become strong, aware, and unstoppable human beings.
