烟霾时眼前朦胧一片，就好比白内障造成的模糊视线。

只是感叹，每一年马来西亚总是被烟霾笼罩。过了这么多年，问题还在。

烟霾肆虐，空气中的细小颗粒物和污染物，会刺激眼睛表面。常见症状包括：眼睛干涩、刺痛、发痒、发红、流眼泪、异物感等。

🍀烟霾天我们可以怎样保护眼睛？

1️⃣ 不要揉眼睛

烟霾中的细小颗粒物容易刺激眼睛。这时候揉眼睛，反而可能进一步刺激眼睛表面，甚至加重发炎。

2️⃣ 隐形眼镜能少戴就少戴

如果烟霾天眼睛已经出现干涩、发红或不舒服，建议暂时改戴眼镜。隐形眼镜可能让眼睛更加干燥和不适，也可能增加眼睛表面的刺激。

3️⃣ 眼睛干涩，可以使用无防腐剂人工泪液

不含防腐剂的人工泪液（Artificial Tears – Preservative Free），由于不含防腐剂，适合需要较频繁使用人工泪液的人。

购买时可以留意包装上的字样，这些字通常印得比较小，购买时记得仔细看看。

- No Preservative
- Without Preservative

另外，无防腐剂人工泪液通常需要特殊的包装设计，以减少开瓶后受到污染的风险，因此价格可能会比一般人工泪液高一些。

4️⃣ 尽量减少户外活动

空气污染指数较高时，尽量减少不必要的户外活动，尤其避免长时间逗留在户外。

5️⃣ 外出回来后，清洁脸部和眼周

回到室内后，可以清洁脸部和眼睛周围，把附着在皮肤和眼睑周围的灰尘、颗粒物清洁干净，减少继续刺激眼睛。

6️⃣ 保持室内空气清洁

如果家里有空气净化器，可以选择配备HEPA 滤网的空气净化器，帮助过滤空气中的细小颗粒物。同时，也别忘了定期清洁冷气机的滤网。

🍀什么情况需要看眼科医生？

如果出现：
- 明显眼痛
- 严重畏光
- 持续红眼
- 视力模糊
- 明显眼分泌物

Meet Dr Christina Ng Wei Khee 👋🏻

Our Consultant Ophthalmologist and Cataract & Refractive Surgeon with over 15 years of experience in ophthalmology.

Dr Christina has a special interest in cataract surgery, Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) implantation and refractive surgery. She graduated from the International Medical University (IMU) in 2009 and completed her Doctor of Ophthalmology training at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She was also awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth), United Kingdom.

She further advanced her expertise in Refractive, Cornea and Lens Surgery under the mentorship of Professor Jorge L. Alió in Spain.

Dr Christina mainly practises at Regency Medical Care Centre and Regency Specialist Hospital Johor Bahru, both sister organisations within the HMI Group. Prior to this, she served as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Hospital Sultan Ismail, Johor Bahru. She has performed thousands of ophthalmic procedures, including cataract surgery with premium lenses, ICL surgery, pterygium surgery and intravitreal injections.

Christina 医生专注于白内障手术、植入式隐形眼镜（ICL）植入及屈光手术。她于2009年毕业于国际医科大学（IMU），随后在马来西亚国民大学（UKM）完成眼科专科培训，并获得英国皇家眼科学院院士资格（FRCOphth）。

她之后在西班牙 Professor Jorge L. Alió 教授的指导下，进一步接受屈光、角膜及晶状体手术专业培训。

One thing we have seen too many times in clinic: patients coming to us when their vision is already severely affected, sometimes almost blind.

We work hard to bring their blood sugar under control, but unfortunately, by then, some of the damage to the eyes has already been done. And in advanced diabetic retinopathy, controlling the sugar alone cannot simply reverse the damage.

That’s why we always tell our patients: don’t wait until your vision becomes blurry before checking your eyes.

Diabetes care is not just about your blood sugar.
It’s about protecting your eyes, kidneys, heart and nerves before irreversible damage occurs. 👁️

Early detection gives us a chance to intervene early.

Please get your diabetic eye screening regularly, even if you feel that your vision is perfectly fine.

很多人都会有这个疑问：“眼药水一直放在冰箱里，看起来也没有变质，为什么不能继续用？”

这里有一个很重要的观念：
‼️Expiry date ≠ 开瓶后的使用期限

眼药水未开封时，一般可以按照包装上的 expiry date 保存。但是，一旦打开瓶盖，开封后的使用期限就可能缩短。不同眼药水的规定并不一样，大部分开封后只能使用约 30 天，有些则可能有不同的期限。

🍀 为什么放进冰箱也不一定可以？

因为开瓶以后，瓶口和药液都有机会接触空气以及环境中的微生物。冷藏并不能保证开封后的眼药水不会受到污染。

🍀 继续滴眼睛会怎样？

如果眼药水已经超过说明书规定的开封后使用期限，继续使用可能增加眼睛受到刺激或感染的风险。

🍀 医生自己怎么做？

我自己的习惯是：眼药水一打开，就在瓶身写上“开瓶日期”（看照片）。到了开瓶后的使用期限（30天），就把它丢掉，不管里面还剩多少。

🌷别因为觉得“还有很多，很浪费”而继续使用。

眼药水可以再买，眼睛却只有一双。

温馨提醒：不同眼药水的开封后使用期限不同，请以药品说明书或眼科医生／药剂师的建议为准。

今天是Regency Specialist Hospital 新大楼的全新手术室，迎来了第一位眼科手术病人的重要里程碑。我很荣幸能为第一位病人操刀。

新大楼的手术室空间更加宽敞，而搬迁至新楼的 Daycare Ward 也拥有更多床位，整体环境更加舒适。

值得一提的是，Regency Specialist Hospital 与我们 Eagle Eye Centre Malaysia 同属新加坡 HMI Group 旗下的医疗机构。

同时，也非常感谢 ZEISS 团队一直以来的技术支持。

从 2025 年 6 月 23 日开始，马来西亚首台 ZEISS ARTEVO 750 手术显微镜就在 Regency Specialist Hospital 旧楼投入使用。如今随着新大楼的落成，它也继续为眼科医生提供更清晰、更先进的手术视觉体验。

第一次看眼科医生，需要带什么？

很多人第一次来看眼科医生时，因不了解检查流程而不知所措。其实，不需要太紧张，只要简单做好准备，就能让检查更顺利，也帮助医生更准确了解你的眼睛状况。

建议带上：
🕶️ 墨镜（太阳眼镜）：如果当天需要散瞳，检查后眼睛会比较怕光，戴上墨镜会舒服许多。
👓 目前戴着的眼镜：方便医生检测度数有否改变（如果需要）。
💧 正在使用的眼药水：药水名字、照片、或者连药瓶一起带来，让医生了解目前使用的药物及剂量。

另外，也提醒大家几点：
🍀 并非每位患者都需要散瞳检查，眼科医生会根据检查情况决定。
🍀 若需要散瞳，建议预留约1–2 小时完成检查。
🍀 散瞳后视力会暂时模糊，也会比较怕光，建议当天不要自行驾驶，可安排家人接送，或搭德士／Grab回家。
🍀 来检查时请别佩戴隐形眼镜，建议改戴眼镜，以免影响部分检查结果。

有备而来，检查会更顺利；但如果忘了带，也不用太担心，医生会根据情况提供协助。最重要的是，有任何眼睛不适或视力变化，都应尽早接受眼科检查。不要因为担心准备不足，而延误了诊断。
