Celebrating International Yoga Day 2026 at UTAR T&CM Centre
Today, UTAR T&CM Centre and Utar Hospital were delighted to celebrate International Yoga Day 2026 in collaboration with the High Commission of India, Kuala Lumpur, and the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Indian Cultural Centre (NSCBICC).
The overwhelming response to our Yoga Session reflected the growing awareness of holistic health and wellness within our community. To accommodate the enthusiastic participation, we also organised an additional Chair Yoga session, enabling participants of different ages and physical abilities to experience the benefits of yoga.
We were honoured to have Ms. Dhanista Samaria, Teacher of Indian Culture – Yoga at NSCBICC, who expertly guided participants through both sessions with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Yoga shares many common principles with Traditional Chinese Medicine, emphasising prevention, balance, harmony, and the integration of body and mind. Through programmes like this, UTAR T&CM Centre remains committed to promoting evidence-informed traditional healthcare and healthy lifestyles within the community.
Our sincere appreciation goes to the High Commission of India, NSCBICC, our organising committee, volunteers, and every participant for making this celebration such a great success.
Together, let us continue building a healthier community through collaboration, education, and holistic wellness.
Namaste.
