Creativity at Every Age 🎨🧶

Our residents at St Mark’s Cozy Home enjoyed a colourful yarn weaving craft activity, using simple materials to create their own unique designs.

Activities like this encourage creativity while supporting concentration, hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Most importantly, it gives our residents an enjoyable way to stay active, engaged and proud of what they create. ❤️✨

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Hannah Sarojini Viswasam

With sadness, we remember our beloved resident, Hannah Sarojini Viswasam, one of the long-time residents of St Mark’s Cozy Home, who passed away peacefully on 7th September 2026 at the age of 103.

Having been part of our St Mark’s family for many years, her presence and memories will always hold a special place in our hearts. She will be deeply missed by all of us. 🤍

Rest in peace, Aunty Hannah. You will always be remembered. 🕊️

On *26th August 2026*, a group of twelve members from DUMC Golden Club conducted a special activity for the residents at Cozy Home.

After much prayer, we thank God that the lift has finally been repaired and the residents could once again gather at the 2nd floor chapel.

The special activity started off with self-introduction by the guests. The Praise & Worship session was led by Bro. Peter, followed by an introduction of the DUMC Golden Club by Bro. Bernard.

Four ladies in uniform gave a splendid performance on the Praise Drum and also performed 3 sets of Praise Dance Exercises.

Sis. Jenny Ooi gave a very interesting talk titled "Boss of My Brain" which has 3 simple steps: Catch it, Check it, Change it. She also engaged a simple interactive session which delighted the residents.

The team also gave away home-made mooncakes and a towel to the residents, staff, and caregivers. We thank and praise God for their visit.🙏✝️

A Joyful Visit from DUMC GOLDEN CLUB ✨

St Mark’s Cozy Home was delighted to welcome our guests from DUMC Dream Centre for a wonderful time of fellowship with our residents.

The day began with a warm introduction, followed by singing, dancing and light exercises that brought plenty of smiles and energy to our residents. 🎶💃👵👴

During lunchtime, our guests also shared cupcakes, mooncakes and thoughtful gifts with our residents.

A simple visit, but a beautiful day filled with laughter, kindness and togetherness.

Thank you, DUMC Golden Club, for making our residents feel so special. 💕✨

Keeping the Mind Active, One Game at a Time! 😉

Memory and coordination activities can help our residents stay mentally active, improve concentration, and practise hand-eye coordination while keeping them engaged and energetic. 💪

At St Mark’s Cozy Home, our residents enjoyed a fun memory game using ping pong balls and cups. They observed their partner’s arrangement, remembered the pattern, and recreated the exact same arrangement on their side.

A simple game filled with focus, teamwork, laughter, and meaningful stimulation. ❤️

St Mark’s Cozy Home arranged a meaningful 100-Day Memorial Service in loving memory of Aunty Ellen Henry, beloved wife of our resident, David Henry.

It was a beautiful and heartfelt service, attended by family and friends who came together to remember her life and share their precious memories of Aunty Ellen. ❤️

The gathering concluded with light refreshments, giving everyone a quiet moment to reconnect, reflect, and remember a life dearly cherished.

May the beautiful memories of Aunty Ellen continue to live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. 🕊️🤍
