Most rebrands are about how a company wants to be seen. This one was about what the company had to become.
A cosmetic rebrand changes the logo, refreshes the colours, sharpens the tagline. The company underneath stays the same. Nothing wrong with that, but it is a marketing decision.
What happened at Natural Elixirs was not that.
We have spent close to two decades in Malaysian healthcare, across herbal formulation, manufacturing, OEM, and brand ownership. After Covid, we moved into medical distribution. And the more closely we looked at how independent clinics and pharmacies actually procure, the clearer it became that this problem could not be solved by a distributor at all. It needed different infrastructure entirely.
So we didn't refresh a logo. We rebuilt the company around the problem.
A rebrand driven by a logo is marketing. A rebrand driven by a problem is something else.
