Two years of Blue Swan Home Care in Kota Kinabalu 🎉💙

Since our official launch in July 2024, Blue Swan has continued to grow with one clear purpose: to help individuals and families receive professional, compassionate care in the comfort of home.

Over the past two years, we have had the privilege of supporting families across Kota Kinabalu and Sabah through home visits, nursing care, rehabilitation and elderly care services. Every home we enter, every person we care for and every family who places their trust in us has become part of our journey.

Sometimes, it’s the small changes at home that tell us our ageing parents may need a little more support. 💙

Life can easily become filled with work, responsibilities and plans for the future. Sometimes, without realising it, we have less time for the people who once gave so much of their time to us.

Take a moment to call them, sit with them and ask how they are really doing. Pay attention to the little changes, not only when something serious happens.

In this video, Dr Gordon Pang explains the fourth option:
Home based medical care with coordination.

It means a doctor, nurse, physiotherapist and care coordinator all working together on one personalised plan for one patient at home. Not separate visits from people who never speak to each other.

For families with children overseas, we also become the link back to you. You will know what is happening with your parent without having to chase five different people.

The Blue Swan Home Care team was proud to attend the Malaysian Congress of Geriatric Medicine 2026, where geriatricians, doctors and other healthcare professionals from across Malaysia came together to learn, share ideas, and discuss how we can better care for older people.

We were especially proud to see our Founder, John Cham, speak about bringing quality care beyond the hospital and into the home.

Thank you to the organisers, speakers, and everyone working to improve elderly care in Malaysia.

Together, we can help more older people age with dignity, comfort, and the right support.
