✨ Give your hair follicles a little boost!

Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) uses gentle light to support hair growth, improve hair thickness and strengthen existing hair — with no needles and minimal downtime. 💆🏻‍♀️✨

19/09/2026

💡 Struggling with hair thinning or excessive hair fall?

Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive treatment that uses low-level light to help stimulate the scalp and support hair growth.

✨ Potential benefits of LLLT:
• Helps stimulate hair follicles
• May improve hair density
• Supports healthier-looking, stronger hair
• Can help reduce hair shedding
• Non-invasive with minimal downtime

Results vary from person to person, and LLLT works best when your hair loss is properly assessed and treated according to its cause.

📩 Thinking about trying LLLT? Book a consultation with our dermatologist to find out if it’s suitable for you.

🧼 Itchy hands after washing dishes? It might not be an allergy!

If your hands feel dry, itchy, cracked or scaly after washing dishes, you could be dealing with hand eczema, particularly irritant contact dermatitis.

Dishwashing detergent, frequent hand-washing and prolonged contact with water can irritate your skin and damage the skin barrier.

✨ What can you do?
✔️ Wear gloves when washing dishes
✔️ Moisturise your hands regularly
✔️ Avoid prolonged contact with detergents
✔️ If symptoms persist or keep coming back, see a dermatologist

And no, you don't necessarily need to keep changing your dishwashing detergent! 😉

Save this if you often get itchy hands after doing the dishes. 🫧

🦐 Doctor, can I eat prawns if I have a wound?”

Yes, you can! And no, you don’t have to blame the sotong, eggs, chicken or fish if your wound gets infected. 😭

In fact, protein is important for wound healing because your body needs it to repair damaged tissue.

🥚 Eggs
🍗 Chicken
🦐 Prawns & sotong
🐟 Fish

All are good sources of protein that can support your recovery.

If a wound becomes infected, it is usually due to bacteria entering the wound, rather than the food you ate.

So… next time you have a wound, don’t ban the seafood!😂🦐

If your wound is becoming increasingly red, swollen, painful, warm, or producing pus, get it checked by a doctor.

**Doctor:**
Good question. Unfortunately, I can’t tell just from the colour alone because I’d need to see the nail.

A yellow or grey nail **could be a fungal infection**, which is one of the more common causes. But it could also be due to other skin conditions, such as **psoriasis, lichen planus, or eczema**.

So, to determine exactly what’s causing it, we’d need to examine the nail, look at how the changes have progressed, and understand how it started.

Sometimes, we may even send a nail clipping for testing to check whether there’s actually a fungal infection.

So, **not every yellow or grey nail is necessarily fungus.**
