Our Pink Together got off to a great start today with a pink-themed breakfast among consultants and management (in pink attire), followed by photo and networking sessions.

The highlight was the PMC Pink Cherry Blossom Wishing Tree, which captured motivational and loving messages for cancer patients.

The event also featured vendors carrying healthy and breast-cancer related products such as inner wear, low-sugar beverages, multi-grain bread and pastries.

Pink October recognizes the strength and courage of breast cancer patients and caregivers, while providing hope for successful treatment.

Early detection and treatment makes all the difference. Catch our Pink October Screening promotion at RM220 for breast ultrasound (normal price RM280), RM288 for mammogram (normal price RM370) or both at RM399 (normal price RM650). Book an appointment at: [email protected].

Why does early breast assessment matter? πŸ©ΊπŸ’—

Noticing a breast lump or an unusual change can be worrying β€” but taking the step to get it assessed early can make a meaningful difference.

In this video, our Consultant General & Breast Surgeon, Dr Zarif Yahya, shares what happens during a breast consultation, from discussing your symptoms and medical history to a physical examination and, when needed, further investigations. πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€βš•οΈπŸ’™

Breast changes can have many possible causes, and not every lump or change means cancer. However, getting assessed early can help identify the cause, provide reassurance when appropriate, and allow further investigation or treatment to begin promptly if needed.

If you notice a new lump, change in breast shape or size, skin changes, ni**le changes, or any other unusual symptoms, don’t wait in uncertainty β€” speak to a doctor and get assessed.

Your concerns deserve to be heard, understood and properly assessed. πŸ’™

πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈ Haze Alert: Protect Yourself, Protect Your Health⚠️

The haze may be visible, but the tiny particles in the air are not. These fine particles can enter deep into the lungs and may affect your respiratory and overall health.

As haze levels affect parts of Malaysia, take simple steps to protect yourself and your loved ones:

😷 Mask up with a properly fitted N95 respirator when heading outdoors.
πŸ’§ Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day.
🏠 Keep doors and windows closed to reduce exposure to haze particles indoors.
🌿 Limit prolonged outdoor activities when haze levels are high.

Your health matters. Stay informed, stay hydrated and take care during this haze season.

You can’t stop breathing. But you can protect yourself. πŸ’™
