Does your dog seem stiffer after naps, hesitant on the stairs, or just not quite themselves on walks lately? 🐾

Swipe through to see what an Animal Chiropractic visit with Nicholas actually looks like — from the first conversation about your dog’s history, to a hands-on assessment of posture and gait, right through to what a treatment session feels like for your dog.

Nicholas is Malaysia’s only IVCA-Certified Animal Chiropractor, and every plan starts with understanding how your dog moves — not a one-size-fits-all approach.

🐾 Postural stance isn’t teaching a dog “don’t move.”

It’s teaching active postural control — the dog maintaining an appropriate body position, on purpose.

Left: standing on one flat surface. The back rounds up through the loin, hind legs tucked under. Nothing is being held. The body just settled 😮‍💨

Right: same dog, paws set on separate platforms. The loin opens, the topline flattens 📏

That’s the difference between a body at rest and a body at work 💪 Each platform tells a paw where it belongs, so the dog has to find the position — and then hold it.

Stillness is the absence of movement. Postural control is a skill, and skills are trainable 🧠

🐾 “Stay still” ≠ “hold this position.”

A dog can stand still by switching off 😴 — weight dumped wherever it lands, spine settling into whatever gravity suggests. That’s the left.

Postural stance is the opposite 💪 It’s active work: holding an appropriate body position on purpose, with the stabilising muscles switched on.

The platforms are how we ask 🎯 Each block tells a paw where it belongs, so the dog has to find the position and then hold it. Not “don’t move” — “hold this.”

One is rest. The other is control. And control is trainable 🧠

Three weeks. Same dog. Different stance.

When he first came in, his back was arched — his body compensating just to stand comfortably. Look at the red line in the first photo, then the second.

That change didn’t come from one session. It came from consistent, structured canine conditioning: targeted balance work, controlled movement, and gradual strengthening designed around what his body needed.

Conditioning helps support better posture, body awareness, and movement quality over time. Every dog progresses differently — but progress is measurable, and we track it.

Curious what your dog’s baseline looks like? Our Triple Diagnostic (RM269) covers assessments from all three of our specialists — chiropractic, conditioning, and behaviour.

🐍 Yes, snakes can have chiropractic care too.

Snakes may not have legs, but they still rely heavily on their spine to move, climb, coil, strike, and explore their environment.

Their entire body is built around coordinated spinal movement — so when movement becomes restricted or abnormal, it can affect how they navigate the world.

Animal chiropractic isn’t about “cracking” a snake’s spine or forcing it into place.

It’s about assessing movement, identifying areas of restriction, and applying appropriate, species-specific care when indicated.

Because every animal moves differently.

Even the ones without legs. 🐍

Movement is medicine — for every body, every species.

🚨 Before you book an animal chiropractor for your dog...

Ask this one question. 👇

"Studied animal chiropractic" 📚
"IVCA certified" 🏅

They sound the same.

They're not. ❌

---

Think about ACCA. 🧮

Finishing a course at an ACCA-approved school doesn't make you a Chartered Accountant.

The training ≠ the professional certification.

Animal chiropractic works exactly the same way. 🐾

---

So next time you see:
✅ "Certified"
✅ "IVCA-trained"
✅ "Animal Chiropractor"
..in a bio, it's 100% okay to ask what that actually means.

Not a challenge. 🙅‍♀️
Just a smart question. 💭

---

The good news?

Verifying takes less than 2 minutes. ⏱️

Head to the official IVCA directory and search for yourself 🔍

You don't have to be an expert. 🙌

You just have to ask the right questions. ❓
