🐾 “Stay still” ≠ “hold this position.”

A dog can stand still by switching off 😴 — weight dumped wherever it lands, spine settling into whatever gravity suggests. That’s the left.

Postural stance is the opposite 💪 It’s active work: holding an appropriate body position on purpose, with the stabilising muscles switched on.

The platforms are how we ask 🎯 Each block tells a paw where it belongs, so the dog has to find the position and then hold it. Not “don’t move” — “hold this.”

One is rest. The other is control. And control is trainable 🧠

Their entire body is built around coordinated spinal movement — so when movement becomes restricted or abnormal, it can affect how they navigate the world.

Real progression looks like this:
1️⃣ Stable ground — even weight, good posture
2️⃣ Weight shifting — learning to rebalance on purpose
3️⃣ Controlled movement — slow, deliberate control
4️⃣ Balance equipment — only now does it actually make sense

Before your dog gets on a cushion or a wobble board, ask: can they hold good posture? Shift weight with control? Engage their core? Move confidently on solid ground?

If not, the equipment isn’t the problem to fix. The progression is.

If your dog is refusing to exercise or participate in any normal physical activity, it may be a sign that they may be in pain.
