Assalamualaikum and warm greetings.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the August 2026 issue of Berita Ortopedik, published in the spirit of Hari Kebangsaan as Malaysians celebrate another year of independence and nationhood. In this issue, we reflect on the highlights of the 55th Malaysian Orthopaedic Association Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 in Penang, celebrate the achievements of our members, welcome the new MOA Council and Editorial Board for the 2026/2027 term, and share stories that showcase the camaraderie and strength of our orthopaedic community. On behalf of the Editorial Board, thank you to all our contributors, readers, and members for your continued support. We hope this issue informs, inspires, and reminds us that together, we continue to build a stronger future for Malaysian orthopaedics.
