Some posts arrive when they are meant to.
As we share these moments from our opening, my heart has also been sitting with the recent news of yoga studios closing their doors. Spaces that have held thousands of breaths, conversations, friendships, and years of practice are now saying goodbye.
My heart goes out to every founder who had to make that difficult announcement, every teacher who suddenly lost work, and every student who lost a place that felt like home.
As a yoga community, we feel this together.
Although bE Present Yoga Studio is new, my own journey of teaching has been over two decades. One thing I've learned is that yoga has never been an easy business. It was never meant to make anyone rich, nor is it about having the cheapest classes or the biggest crowds.
A yoga studio is a practice in itself.
Every month is a balance between paying the bills, taking care of the space, supporting good teachers, and continuing to offer classes with sincerity and quality. These things often happen quietly, behind the scenes.
Over the years, I've also come to appreciate that a thriving yoga community is not built by numbers alone. It is built by people who value the practice, who respect their teachers, and who understand that showing up consistently is part of the journey.
This is why our class packages are designed around the spirit of Tapas—the discipline to keep showing up. Real transformation doesn't happen in a weekend, or through a challenge, or by collecting classes. It happens through quiet, consistent practice. One class. One breath. One week at a time.
If you've been curious about yoga, we'd love to welcome you with our Explorer Offer—2 classes for RM60.
And if your own practice has brought more ease, strength, or presence into your life, perhaps invite someone you love to join you. Sometimes the greatest support we can offer a yoga community is simply helping another person discover the practice.
To everyone who has practised with us, trusted us, and become part of this growing community—thank you.
Your presence allows this space to continue breathing.
