We were delighted to welcome another group of expectant parents to our Parentcraft Class 2026, organised with Motherhood to equip couples with practical knowledge for the meaningful journey ahead.

Our clinical experts led insightful discussions throughout the day, featuring Dr. Shilpa Nambiar, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist; Dr. Anna Padmavathy Soosai, Consultant Paediatrician & Neonatologist; and Dr. Wan Aizat, Consultant Anaesthesiologist. A pioneering medical professional and a dedicated advocate for public health, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah devoted much of her life to serving the community. Her contributions to medicine, public health, and the wellbeing of Malaysians have left a lasting legacy.

Her passing marks the loss of a respected figure whose life was defined by service, compassion, and dedication to the nation.

Our heartfelt thoughts and sympathies are with her family, loved ones, and all those mourning her passing during this time of sorrow.

IHH Healthcare Malaysia’s Central Region has signed a Memorandum of Collaboration with CareClinics Healthcare Services to strengthen the cognitive care pathway and support earlier recognition of cognitive health concerns.

The MoC was formalised by Dr Shuba Srinivasan, Regional CEO (Central) and Vice President of Clinical Services, IHH Healthcare Malaysia, and Datuk Dr Thirunavukarasu Rajoo, CEO of CareClinics Healthcare Services, and witnessed by Mr Nav Vij, Chief Digital Neuroscientist at Neurowyzr.

Held at Prince Court Medical Centre, the event also included a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme for CareClinics GPs, led by Dr Julia Shahnaz Merican, Consultant Neurologist; Dr Malathi Karupiah, Consultant Endocrinologist; Dr Nurul Ain, Consultant Psychiatrist; and Dr Murali Govindasamy, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon.

Through this collaboration, CareClinics GPs, IHH Central consultants and Neurowyzr will work together to support proactive cognitive screening, clearer referral pathways and continuity of care from primary to specialist care.
