Chinese has a saying

“恶魔藏在细节里”

Translate: Devil is hiding in the details

It means to not overlook something because it is small and simple, because even something simple can create many big problems and complications.

Recently I came across a news about Joe Biden looked at his watch during a Marine Homage Ceremony.

This action creates a lot of discomfort for the deceased’s families, calling it a dishonour act.

This news reminds me of why Nirvana always care for every single details during a funeral ceremony.

It is because during a funeral, the family is under the influence of stresses and sadness, any small mistake will add on to the pain they are experiencing.

Once, I had a family thanking me for Nirvana’s service saying:

“When we told Nirvana my mum was a vegetarian, they asked me:

“do your mother accept eggs or not?”

And we answered no.”

Then, all the food offerings are vegetarian and not a single egg in them.

A small gesture like this actually bring big comfort to the family in this situation.

Of course no one is perfect, even Nirvana can make mistake, but Nirvana will always take it seriously and fix it on the spot, so the family and grief in peace.

Don’t let hates and regrets grow beyond death, pre plan so love can preserve beyond life.

”It doesn’t bother you that you have to talk about death all the time in what you do?” My friend asked

“It doesn’t bother, as what I talk about is life, not death.”

He looked confuse and I continued “death is only one parts of life that we can’t control, similar with birth.”

“In Life, we can’t control both our own birth and death, but there were plans made before and after our birth, mostly by our parents because we were incapable of planning at that moment. Like baby bed, milk, vaccine, insurance and etc, we have no choice but to let our parents decide”

“But for death, we have a choice, we can decide how our funeral be, who to handle it, how much to spend for it, how much money we save, how much we can earn from the planning, and what kind of memories we want to left behind, before it happens.”

“Or we can skip all that now and pass the burden to our family on top of their sadness and grief.”

“What I talk about is the choices we can make in life, specifically death”

“Do you agree?” I asked my friend

With a serious and deep into thought look on his face. He said “yes”

Filial Piety

It’s a very meaningful virtue that pass on from generations to generations.

Last week, my client’s mother passed away and I help her arrange her mother’s wake ceremony.

I have known this client for over a year but I have never met her children.

During the wake ceremony, I have the chance to talk about the main purpose of a wake service to my client.

“it has different meanings depend on which position you are”

“For you, it’s is a final respect to your mother and to show your appreciation to your mother for giving birth and taking good care of you and your sister from baby to adult.”

“And for your children, are to learn from what you do to their grandmother today. It will remind them that they must appreciate and respect you while they still have the chance”

“This Wake service is the final practice of Filial Piety from you towards your mother and a reminder from your children towards you”

After the ceremony, my client, who is now a good friend of mine, call me out to thank me for accompany her everyday during the 3days ceremony and she sees the growths in her children after the ceremony.

“My children are treating me with so much appreciation lately that I am so touch, it’s just like you said.”

“During Qing Dynasty, Emperors must complete their tombs when they were alive”

It wasn’t called pre-planning then, but Prosperity Live Burial or “Sheng Ji”.

It’s a culture that believe the Emperor’s life force, luck and wealth will further enhance through Yin Feng Shui.

Feng Shui has Yin (阴) and Yang(阳).

Unlike Yang Feng Shui where it’s direct affects people inside buildings that are above ground. Yin Feng Shui must be underground and only can affect people through DNA that buries within the tomb.

So a person can create Sheng Ji by buries his/her hair, nails, belongings and drops of blood inside the tomb. But since the DNA is limited, it only affects the person.

However, when the person passes away and buries in the same tomb, it affects the person’s many generations to come, until the DNA is gone.

Yin Feng shui has good and bad, if its bad it will have bad effects.

“If I don’t prepare for it, death will not Happen sooner to me”

This is said by a 40years old man when he found out about my profession.

How to define it is sooner or later, since we don’t even know when it will happens?

Everyone is afraid of death, I do too. But no matter what, death is something we can not control.

However, there are a few things we can control, which are only available when we decide to plan for the inevitable before it happens and I will share it 1 by 1.

First of all, what most people care about is money.

If we plan for it we can control how much money we can save, Because in Nirvana we have last minute price and pre-planning price on every product.

I once helped a customer save over RM50k in pre-planning.

Now, I can help customer to save all the money and even earn money from it, because of the 400% cash rebate that Nirvana is giving out for limited time.
