How can we get a clearer picture of fall risk? 👀

It starts with looking beyond just one assessment.

Step 1️⃣ Assess Balance
Using the FRA510S to assess balance ability and identify potential factors contributing to fall risk.

Step 2️⃣ Assess Muscle Health
Complement the assessment with InBody to measure leg muscle mass and identify muscle imbalances that may affect physical function.

Step 3️⃣ Turn Results into Action
Bring both insights together to help guide more targeted balance and strength interventions, while monitoring muscle health along the way.

✨ Two assessments. One clearer picture of fall risk.

Falls are rarely caused by just one factor. So why assess balance with just one measurement? 👀

The InBody FRA510S takes a more comprehensive look at the different systems involved in maintaining balance.

1️⃣ Sensory System Analysis
Evaluates how effectively the body uses somatosensory, visual and vestibular information to maintain stability.

2️⃣ Comprehensive Balance Analysis
Assesses how effectively the sensory, nervous and musculoskeletal systems work together to control the centre of gravity and maintain balance.

3️⃣ Nervous System Analysis
Evaluates reaction speed and postural stability, providing insight into how quickly the body can respond to changes.

Together, these results provide a clearer picture of an individual’s balance ability and potential fall-risk factors — helping healthcare professionals better understand where difficulties may be coming from.

🧍‍♀️ Assess balance. Identify fall risk. Support better rehabilitation.

Balance plays an important role in mobility, independence, and safe movement — especially for older adults and individuals undergoing rehabilitation.

The InBody FRA510S provides a comprehensive Fall Risk Assessment, helping healthcare professionals objectively evaluate balance and identify factors that may contribute to fall risk.

📊 With objective assessment data, physiotherapists and rehabilitation professionals can:

• Evaluate balance and functional status
• Identify potential fall risk

Happy World Physiotherapy Day! 🧑‍⚕️❤️

Today, we celebrate the physiotherapists who help patients move better, recover stronger, and regain confidence in everyday life.

In physiotherapy, recovery is more than simply feeling better — it’s about understanding how the body is changing throughout the rehabilitation journey.

With objective data on body composition, muscle mass, balance, and physical function, physiotherapists can gain valuable insights to support assessment, track progress, and make more informed decisions throughout rehabilitation.

Because when data meets clinical expertise, every step forward can be measured.

Here’s to the physiotherapists making movement possible, one patient at a time. 💪

Healthy ageing starts with knowing what’s changing inside the body.

As we age, changes in muscle mass, muscle strength and cellular health can affect mobility, independence and overall quality of life.

InBody provides objective measurements that go beyond body weight — helping healthcare professionals monitor:

💪 Muscle mass through SMM, SMI and Segmental Lean Analysis
✊ Muscle strength through the InGrip Handgrip Strength Dynamometer
🧬 Cellular health through Phase Angle

By measuring these changes over time, healthcare professionals can gain a more comprehensive picture of an individual’s health and support earlier, more personalised interventions.

Because healthy ageing isn’t just about living longer — it’s about living well for longer.

September is Healthy Ageing Month! 🌿👴👵🧓

Ageing is inevitable. But how well we age is something we can influence.

This month, let’s focus on maintaining muscle, managing body fat, staying active, and preserving independence — because healthy ageing is about more than just living longer. It’s about living well. ❤️

Are Malaysians truly ageing well? 🇲🇾

According to the NHMS 2025, only 14.7% of older Malaysians are considered to be ageing well — and the proportion declines significantly with age:

🔹 18.0% among those aged 60–69
🔹 10.7% among those aged 70–79
🔹 5.1% among those aged 80 and above

One important factor in healthy ageing is body composition.

💪 Maintaining muscle supports mobility, balance, joint stability and independence.
🫀 Managing excess body fat, particularly visceral fat, is important as it is associated with cardiometabolic health risks.
💧 Maintaining healthy body water balance also contributes to overall physiological health.

Healthy ageing isn’t simply about the number on the scale.

It’s about understanding what your body is made of — and preserving the right balance of muscle, fat and body water as you age.

👀 Stay tuned for our next post to discover how InBody can support a more comprehensive approach to healthy ageing!

Not all weight loss is the same. ⚖️

When it comes to GLP-1 treatment, the number on the scale only tells part of the story. 📉

Weight loss can include changes in body fat, muscle mass, and body water — so it’s important to look beyond weight alone and understand what is changing. 🔍

With body composition analysis, you can monitor these changes more closely and make weight management more informed and personalized. 📊

Because it’s not just about losing weight — it’s about losing the right tissue. 💪

27/08/2026

With GLP-1 treatment, the goal isn’t simply to lose weight — it’s about understanding what you’re losing.

Track the changes in your body fat, muscle mass, body water, and cellular health to see the bigger picture beyond the scale.

Because better weight management starts with knowing what’s happening inside your body.

20/08/2026

With GLP 1 therapies reshaping obesity management, losing weight is easier. But are patients losing the right body components?

The number on the scale only tells part of the story. Understanding changes in fat, muscle, and visceral fat can provide a more complete picture of weight management outcomes.

The InBody970S is designed to support advanced obesity care with:

🔹 Up to 300 kg measurement capacity
Spacious footplate designed to enhance conductivity and support measurements across the full obesity spectrum.

🔹 Accurate 3 MHz Measurement Technology
Utilises a 3 MHz frequency to support greater measurement precision across diverse body types and clinical populations.

🔹 T Score & Z Score Evaluation
Compare body composition against younger healthy populations and individuals within the same age group.

🔹 Visceral Fat Area Evaluation
Provides an objective view of visceral fat to support a deeper understanding of cardiometabolic risk.

Because effective weight management goes beyond losing kilograms. It’s about helping patients lose weight the right way!

Discover how the InBody970S can support more informed and sustainable weight management!
