Behind every great restaurant is a great team.

And if we’re being honest…

Building one hasn’t been easy.

Over the years, we’ve made mistakes in hiring. We’ve hired too quickly. We’ve hired the wrong people. We’ve made decisions that, looking back, we wish we had handled differently.

We’re still learning.

Building a team of passionate Sarawakians who share the same pride in our heritage isn’t simple. Finding people who care deeply about hospitality, who want to grow, who choose teamwork over ego, and who believe in serving something bigger than themselves is one of the hardest things we’ve ever done.

But we’re not giving up.

Because we believe Sarawak deserves a restaurant that doesn’t just preserve our food… it also develops our people.

So we’re looking for those few individuals who are ready to build something meaningful with us.

Not just people looking for a job.

People looking for a place to belong.

A place where you’ll be challenged, supported, trusted, and given opportunities to grow.

We won’t promise perfection.

We’re still learning every day.

To those balik kampung, drive safe.
To those hosting, all the best (we know it’s a marathon 😄).
To those still working, we see you too.

May your homes be full, your tables fuller, and your hearts at ease this Raya.

We’ll be open for dinner on 1st Hari Raya, and back to normal hours on Monday, 23rd March 2026.

But this one? We quietly put it on the shelf… and it kept disappearing. 👀

Kuih Sarang Semut (Kuih Jala) — crispy, golden, and handmade by our kampung aunties who’ve been doing this long before it became “trendy”.

It’s light, crunchy, and somehow you finish half the pack without realising. No judgement. Happens to all of us.

We only bring in small batches, so once it’s gone… it’s really gone.
