🎲 Play, Connect & Grow!

Our first Social Board Game Programme on the 31/10/2026 was a success! 🎉

It was wonderful to see the children learning, interacting and connecting through board games in a fun and supportive environment.

Beyond playing games, the children had opportunities to practise:
🌟 Taking turns and sharing
🌟 Communication and social interaction
🌟 Following rules and instructions
🌟 Teamwork and problem-solving
🌟 Managing emotions and accepting different outcomes

We believe that meaningful social skills develop through real experiences, practice and positive interactions.

经过一个多月的讨论与筹备，我们终于与 A Learning Star 和 Qi Miao Boardgame (奇妙桌游) 确定了第一次试办活动的安排！

我们希望透过简单、有趣的桌游，让孩子们有机会认识新朋友、学习轮流等待、理解游戏规则，并练习沟通与互动。

我们也坦白说，目前并不确定桌游能为孩子们带来多大的帮助。因此，我们决定先从一个小组开始，在专业团队的协助下，一起探索桌游的可能性。

📋 活动详情

👧 对象： 7–10 岁，有 ASD (自闭症)、ADHD (注意力不足／过动症)、学习困难 (Learning Difficulties)，或在社交互动方面需要额外支持的儿童。尚未正式诊断的孩子也欢迎报名。

👥 人数： 约 6–8 位儿童，同一组参加全部 3 次活动
📅 日期： 31/10、14/11、28/11/2026 (星期六)
🕢 时间： 晚上 7:30–8:30 (每次约 1 小时，视当天情况可能稍微延长)
📍地点： Qi Miao Boardgame @ North Bank (三楼)
💚 费用：完全免费

26.9.2026 - A meaningful session with parents and teachers on “Understanding Behaviour, Building Skills” through Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) strategies for children with Autism.

From understanding the ABC of behaviour and it’s function, to reinforcement, replacement skills, visuals and breaking task into smaller steps, — the focus was simple:

Understand the behaviour. Connect with the child. Build the skill.

We’re so happy to be part of this meaningful collaboration with Ah Po Premium & Qi Miao Boardgame — bringing joyful play, valuable social communication and interactive skills, as well as bonding for quality family time, while helping our children play more and spend less time on screens!

一直以来，都很想为孩子们做一点事情。

尤其是自闭症谱系的孩子，因为我自己的孩子也有轻微的自闭症，所以这件事情对我来说，会多一份感受，也一直放在心里。

只是我很清楚，我不是这方面的专业人士。
有心是一回事，真正要怎么帮助孩子，还是需要专业的人来做。

所以最近我找到了 A Learning Star 的老师们，一起讨论看看可以做些什么。

这一次，我们有一个想法：
透过桌游，让孩子们在比较轻松、没有压力的环境里，一起玩、一起互动。

很幸运的是，当我们去和桌游店的老板娘聊的时候，才知道她自己也有上过相关的专业课程，对这方面有很好的了解，也知道桌游其实可以透过不同的设计，帮助孩子练习沟通、专注、轮流、规则理解和人与人之间的互动。

所以那天的面谈聊得非常愉快，也让原本只是一个小小的想法，慢慢有了比较清楚的方向 ❤️

活动的日期、人数和具体内容目前都还没有确定，我们还在和老师们一起讨论，希望是真的做得好、对孩子有帮助，而不是为了办活动而办活动。

等我们确认好了，会再和大家分享。

Farewell to Teacher Amanda❤️

It’s such a bittersweet moment saying goodbye to you. We are so happy and proud of you as you begin your Master’s journey, but we will truly miss having you with us.

Thank you for all the love, patience, laughter, and wonderful memories you have shared with us. We will always remember your kindness, your encouragement, and all the little moments that made our days special.
