We are from Selangor. My child is now 7 years old. Since young, he has been very active—always running around, finding it hard to sit still, and being very emotionally sensitive. At that time, we felt that he was still young and believed it was better to wait for him to grow up.
When he started kindergarten at the age of 3, he had difficulty sitting on his chair and often ran around the classroom. He also found it hard to focus on tasks for a long time, except for activities he really liked.
Thankfully, based on the recommendation of my manager at work, who came across the page of Masteri Child Psychology & Development Centre and saw many successful feedback and positive reviews, she suggested it to me. Because of this, we did not miss our child’s golden development period ❤️
After attending therapy sessions for more than a year, we noticed many positive changes in our child and his behavior began to improve. He started expressing his needs using words, learned how to manage his emotions, understood when it was appropriate to be active and when to stay calm, and was able to focus and sit for longer periods. He no longer only cried or had tantrums to get what he wanted.
The kindergarten teachers also shared that he was very different compared to before—he could sit and listen during class, was willing to speak, and was not easily upset. Now in primary school, he continues to show improvement. He is able to socialize well, control his emotions, and sit calmly during lessons. We truly feel that every therapy session was worth it and not a waste.
We are very grateful to the teachers and the team for all the effort, care, and energy you have given.
If children around you are facing challenges in life, learning, or development, do not feel embarrassed or overly worried. It is better to address the issue early rather than later. You can seek a child educational psychologist at Masteri Psychology for early assessment and intervention. Do not let them miss their golden development period.
