❤️ Two Indonesian IVF babies visited me yesterday!
Both came with very interesting IVF stories.
👶 The first baby:
Her mother underwent IVF with us in 2019, but could not return for her frozen embryo transfer until 2025, when she was 42 years old.
Six years after the embryos were frozen, she finally had her transfer, conceived, and delivered her beautiful baby in Kalimantan, Indonesia.
👶👶 The second:
A Dutch-Indonesian couple had two embryos transferred.
They initially conceived triplets because one of the embryos split into two, creating identical twins. Sadly, the singleton pregnancy was later lost, but the identical twins continued to develop well and were eventually delivered in Holland.
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of seeing these IVF babies again. ❤️
Every IVF journey is different. Sometimes the road is long and unexpected, but these little visitors remind us why we keep trying.
