Many Malaysians grow up being taught, believing that caring for our parents is our responsibility. But as our society ages and families become smaller and busier, that responsibility is becoming more complicated than ever.

In Hope Assisted Living Care Centre, we’ve seen first-hand the difficult decisions families face — balancing love, work, finances, and the well-being of their elderly parents. Sometimes the most loving choice is not the easiest one.

Care centers and Nursing homes are often misunderstood. Choosing professional care is sometimes seen as abandonment, when in reality many families make that decision because they want their parents to receive the attention, supervision and social interaction that they may not be able to provide alone.
