🌫️ 𝗛𝗮𝘇𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝘆𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗼! 👁️

Hazy weather can irritate your eyes, causing redness, watery eyes, itching, burning or a dry, gritty feeling.

Here are some simple ways to protect your eyes during haze:

💧 Use lubricating eye drops if your eyes feel dry
🕶️ Wear glasses or sunglasses when outdoors
🚫 Avoid rubbing your eyes
🏠 Limit prolonged outdoor exposure when haze levels are high
🧼 Wash your face and hands after spending time outdoors

If eye irritation is persistent, severe, or affects your vision, consider getting your eyes checked.

𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲, 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆!🎉

We’re honoured to share that we’re the FIRST hospital in Malaysia to achieve International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) Level 1 accreditation for Cataract Surgery.

ICHOM is a global organisation that recognises healthcare providers for excellence in patient-centred, outcomes-driven care. This excellence is demonstrated through systematically measuring and using clinical and patient-reported outcomes to improve the results that matter most to patients.

Achieving this accreditation reflects our commitment to delivering the following:
✅ Routinely measuring the outcomes specified in the ICHOM Set(s) for Cataract Surgery
✅ Actively using the data collected to improve care
✅ Providing evidence of data-led decision-making, based upon patient preferences, to improve and transform care over time.

We're incredibly proud of this milestone and even more excited for what's ahead as we continue to raise the bar in delivering world-class, patient-centred care.

👀 A little check today, a clearer tomorrow!

Last week, we had a great time at the Shell Sunway Fair, meeting the Shell team and getting their eyes checked with our Glaucoma Eye Screening! 💙

Glaucoma can be a silent thief of sight — often showing little to no symptoms in its early stages. That’s why regular eye screening matters! 👁️✨

Thank you, Shell team, for having us! We had a great time seeing you all and spreading a little more awareness about eye health. 🫶

When was your last eye check? 👀

👁️ Cataracts aren’t just for adults.

Children can develop cataracts too — and early detection matters. 👶💙

🚩 Look out for:
• A white or cloudy pupil
• Eyes that cross or wander
• Uncontrolled eye movements
• Difficulty following objects or faces
• Frequent squinting or sensitivity to light

If you notice any of these signs, don’t wait. Early treatment can help protect your child’s developing vision.

Your vision is our priority—every step of the way. 💙

👁️ Diabetes Can Affect More Than Your Blood Sugar

Did you know that diabetes can silently damage the tiny blood vessels in your retina?

Diabetic retinopathy may develop gradually and, if left untreated, can lead to serious vision loss or even blindness.

Watch out for symptoms such as:
🔹 Blurry or fluctuating vision
🔹 Increased floaters
🔹 Dark or distorted areas in your vision
🔹 Poor night vision or washed-out colours

The good news? Early detection can help protect your sight. Regular eye examinations can detect changes before significant vision loss occurs.

If you have diabetes, don't wait for your vision to change. Schedule your eye examination today. 👁️✨
