✅ Putting Our Emergency Preparedness to the Test

When every second counts, preparation makes all the difference. Our Emergency Department recently carried out an internal Code Yellow Drill (Disaster Patients Entering), simulating a bus accident with student volunteers playing the role of casualties.

With 15 simulated victims and multiple departments working together, the drill gave our emergency response team valuable hands-on practice in rapid assessment, triage, and mobilisation; all in a safe, controlled setting.

A big thank you to our staff and consultants for their dedication throughout this exercise.

Preparedness like this is what allows us to respond swiftly and confidently when it matters most. We remain committed to the safety of our community because we are always ready for you.

ASSUNTA HOSPITAL REMAINS OPEN AS USUAL – 1 SEPTEMBER 2026

Dear Patients and Members of the Public,

Please be informed that 1 September 2026 (Tuesday) has been declared a Special Public Holiday (Cuti Peristiwa) by the Selangor State Government in conjunction with Selangor’s achievement as Champions of SUKMA XXII.

Assunta Hospital will remain OPEN and operate as usual on 1 September 2026 to ensure continuity of patient care and healthcare services.

Our key services will continue to operate as usual, including:

Accident & Emergency – 24 hours
Cardiology
Specialist Clinics
Pharmacy
Laboratory
Radiology
Rehabilitation
Nursing Services
Health Screening Unit
Business Office
And other essential hospital support services

All scheduled appointments, procedures, and healthcare services will proceed as planned.

Dear Patients & Visitors,

To serve you better, Assunta Hospital will be carrying out an upgrade to our chiller system as part of our ongoing efforts to improve our hospital facilities and enhance the comfort of our patients, visitors, and staff.

🗓️ Date: Saturday, 22 August 2026
🕙 Time: 10:00 PM – 4:00 AM

During the upgrade works, air-conditioning systems operating using chilled water will be temporarily affected.
