For many years, I was a non believer in organizing events for the clinic. I used to think: ‘I’m a doctor. Not a PR’

My focus was simple: treat my patients well, deliver my procedure well and let the results speak for itself.

But over time I realized healthcare is more than just medicine. I wasn’t building a clinic. I was building a brand and a community that people can trust and rely on. It was about the people and experience.

We want to show up continuously for Kaitekians not only when they’re at clinic for procedures, but throughout their health & beauty journey.

A year ago, this space was filled with dust, bare walls and only a vision of what Kaiteki Sabah could become. Because we were located in a mall, construction work was only limited to after operating hours during nighttime.

They were *expected delays* ahem, countless revisions and moments when the finish line felt far away…

But every challenge was met with a shared belief in creating a space that would make our patients feel comfortable, welcomed and cared for.

Every branch .my builts tells a different story. Different locations, various challenges but always the same purpose: for every Kaitekian to receive beauty treatments under safe hands.

To every team member from my dearest partner .xiao.chien, most efficient & competent branch manager and therapists ( PLUS a very important ophthalmologist who became our part time plumber, handyman and muscleman WE ARE TRULY HONOURED 🙈）who have been part of this journey: thank you.

With strict mall regulations that the girls need to carry supplies up and down service lift ( before operating hours), painfully coordinating deliveries after hours, this beautiful space and our expansion to Borneo was made possible because of you. 🥰💕

Jokes aside, I don’t judge or categorize my patients based on income ( honestly, I wouldn’t even know how much they earn lol) But I do think it’s important to understand their budget and financial comfort level, so I can recommend treatment plans that are practical, sustainable and won’t place unnecessary financial strain on them.

My advice: don’t spend like a T1 when your wallet feels the pinch. And no matter B40, M40, T20.. .my treats you like first class and got your back either way. Spend wisely!
