Being a is , worse if when you are not looking your best!!

This bride to be have eye disease three months prior to her big day. She came in and . Thankfully, she is a super compliant with all her treatment. Two months later , she looks much better. The swelling in her face also get better. Thyroid patient has besides 3puffyeyes

Now is the time for her big day. Wish her well!!!

Fuller eyes are beautiful oriental eyes!!!

This young beautiful lady is upset with her sunken and tired looks. ( Yes, sunken eyelid usually does not look good in oriental !!)

She plucked up the courage and have upper eyelid ptosis surgery with fat grafting done in her upper eyelid. Viola!! it just looks great on her. Her brow is lifted, her forehead wrinkles has improved and she looks more engaging. A beautiful lady in her 20s!!!!

Time to move on. Let’s give a helping hand.

This recently bereaved lady lost a lot of weight. Hence her eye bags start to show (yes, loss of weight can reveal facial skeleton and losing the midcheeck volume can looks quite aging for a person.)

She approached doctor as after a period of grief, she is really to start her life back. Of course we are keen to give her a hand,

So happy for her that she looks much more refreshed after the procedure. And so happy for her to move on with her life.

From to one of the glowiest person in group photos!!!

This lady want to addressed her eyebags. After and and , she exudes this beautiful glow in her face (to be honest, not intentional). interestingly nasolabial fold also reduced.

And she happily announced that in the recent group photos, she becomes person with the most (the before and after photos here use the same lighting and NO flash)

Children are , but they can also be honestly !!

This beautiful daughter of my consultant (yes, a specialist doctor) decided to bring his 8 years old daughter for correction of right c as she is being teased at school.

Thankfully, the operation went well. Her eye closure also improved. Children has an way to adapt to this surgery!!! and importantly they become more which is the key element for future success.

Not necessarily. Why people get ill? Mostly related with poor lifestyle and .

This patient presented with asymmetric eye and was diagnosed with . Whilst many chase the latest expensive medication, his treatment is more or less back to the basic. he realised his hectic lifestyle lead him to poor immune system . He took the courage to change his job, eating healthily and adopt . With some established old medication and injection, he is back to his normal self.

Doctor is so glad to be part of his journey. His courage and determination saves him from a prolonged illness course.

What would you do when someone has a devastating diagnosis of conjunctiva (pigmented cancer in the eye)?

This Indonesian lady sought foreign country help when the pigment in the eye was diagnosed with conjunctiva melanoma. Yes, can grow in the eye.

Clinical examination shows multiple pigmented lesion, quite extensive surrounding the eye. As it is quite unusual to have sudden onset of such an extensive lesion with no other health history. A further multiple biopses was done.

Interestingly, none of the biopsy specimen shows cancer but only melanocytic naevus. Whilst it is important to be cautious , if one in doubt, a further biopsy should be done before any drastic procedures should be performed (in this example , if it is proven and multiple conjunctival melanoma, the eye may need to be removed).

Thankfully, it is a beautiful ending and this lady with her dutiful daughter returned back home.

Lesson to learn:

sometimes some biopsy outcome can be a bit equivocal. If one is suspicious, it is good to reconfirm again before embarking on any drastic surgery.

如果化验报告显示是眼结膜黑色素瘤。该怎么办？

这位从印尼飘洋过海的女人带着一个伤心的化验显示黑色素瘤。结膜与眼皮確实有非常多的黑色色素，可是太多了，有点不寻常。如何好？如何是好磁共振成像也没有显示出任何不好的东西。医生把所有 #结膜黑色斑点全部拿去切除更化验，结果所有化验显示都是良性的黑色痣。免除了大手术与保全视力。谢天谢地

这真是开斋节的好礼物，而这位女士也开开心心和他孝顺的女儿离开了。

温馨提醒：有时 #化验的结果可能会有一些争辩性，再次化验可能会避开一些不必要和比较激烈的措施。祝大家身体健康。
