As the saying goes, breasts are sisters, not twins.

Our bodies are not designed to be perfectly symmetrical, and breast differences can simply be part of what makes your body yours. What is important is being familiar enough with your own body to recognise when something has changed.

Perform your daily breast examinations in front of the mirror and getting a routine mammogram is the best way to catch those unusual changes early.

Breast awareness does not have to feel complicated or time-consuming. All it takes is 10 seconds of paying attention to your body in front of the mirror to help you become more familiar with what is normal for you.

So consider this your reminder to pause, look and get to know your body a little better. TAG another woman who needs this timely reminder too.
