Place demands. 'Pick up that sock', 'Put that away', 'Keep', 'Bring me that', 'Switch that off', 'Blow first', 'Squeeze harder'...a multitude of simple, functional instructions incorporated within your typical day can go a long way in preparing your child to learn.
