PGTA(preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy)of the embryo can lower your risk of miscarriages and reduce your risk of carrying a baby with chromosome anomaly.

Who should consider PGTA?
1) Patients who have recurrent miscarriages.
2) Older women typically 35yo and above - chromosomal errors in eggs naturally increase with age.
3) Multiple IVF failures.
4) Family history of chromosomes anomalies or previous history of carrying a chromosome anomaly baby.
5) Severe male factor infertility.

PGTA is preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy of the embryo.
It can be done during IVF treatment, where it is a technique used to analyse the chromosomes of the embryo before they are transferred back into the womb.
The primary goal of PGTA is to select a healthy embryo with the correct number of chromosomes.
