We are delighted to share the successful completion of the 1st APOA–Young Surgeons Forum (YSF) Pakistan Meeting.

The event was honoured by Prof. Arif Khan (Former Secretary General of APOA, current 2nd Vice President, and Patron of APOA–YSF Pakistan Chapter), who introduced APOA and highlighted its vision and regional role. We were also pleased to have national APOA Pakistan delegates in attendance, whose presence added great value to the meeting.

Dr. Bedri Karaismailoglu, APOA–YSF Chair, presented an insightful overview of APOA–YSF and its global initiatives, followed by an engaging session on opportunities for young surgeons aimed at inspiring early-career orthopaedic professionals.

The academic programme featured a comprehensive knee arthroplasty session, complemented by an interactive sawbones workshop, providing excellent hands-on learning experience.

We sincerely thank all speakers, faculty, and participants for their valuable contributions in making this event a success.

Looking ahead, APOA–YSF Pakistan Chapter is excited to continue its collaboration with various societies, with upcoming activities including workshops on deformity correction, pelvic/acetabulum trauma, and the Pakistan Sports Society Annual Meeting in August.
