John Ambulance of Malaysia (SJAM) is a Non-Government Organization that provides first aid and community services to the public. Most of our members are volunteers and the activities are funded by public. There are 31 divisions included cadet and adult division which cover Segamat Area.

❤️𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗻 | 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟱𝟳 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲

Yesterday, we gathered in Segamat for a meaningful Appreciation Luncheon, organised by St. John Ambulans Malaysia, State of Johor, in honour of our former State Commander, Dr. Martin Param Ponniah, who has dedicated an incredible 57 years of his life to St. John Ambulance Malaysia.

His years of dedicated service, leadership and contribution has left a lasting legacy within the organisation and the community. Today, we celebrate his remarkable journey and express our heartfelt appreciation for everything he has given to St. John❤️

We were honoured to welcome Deputy Commander-in-Chief Dato’ Sri Dr. Chee Hong Leong, State Commander of Johor Dr. Goh Aik Ping, Principal Staff Officer (Administration) Ts. Lim Geok Leong, Deputy State Commander of Johor Dr. Alexander Tan Zhi Sheng, together with all Area Commanders from across Johor, who joined us in Segamat for this special occasion.

Thank you, Dr. Martin, for 57 years of dedicated service. Your legacy will always remain with St. John❤️🚑

🏮【第四届柔佛州万盏华灯庆中秋《中华行》】🏮

很荣幸，本区获主办单位邀请，为「柔佛州万盏华灯庆中秋《中华行》」提供急救及医疗支援服务。

两天行程，我们一路随行守护：
📍 第一天｜拉美士 ➡️ 昔加末
📍 第二天｜昔加末 ➡️ 利民达 ➡️ 武吉甘密 ➡️ 麻坡

从一站到一站，为活动参与者提供必要的急救支援，陪伴这趟充满意义的文化之旅顺利进行。

很开心能够连续四届参与这项活动，也感谢主办单位一直以来的信任与邀请❤️

愿活动一切顺顺利利，平安完成，并最终顺利抵达终点！🏮

🚑 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞

Last month, several officers from our Area attended the Advanced First Aid Course in Johor Bahru.

The course provided comprehensive theoretical and practical training, further strengthening our officers’ first aid knowledge, technical skills, and emergency response capabilities.

Continuous training and professional development enable us to provide better and more effective medical support to the community🚑❤️

This morning, our area was invited by the Kelab Kebajikan Bandar Segamat to provide first aid standby and on-site medical support for the charity run.

The event was held to raise funds for the Dialysis Centre and the Segamat Chinese Education Development Committee, bringing together the care and support of the community❤️

We are truly happy and honoured to contribute to such a meaningful charity event and play a small part in supporting the community.

上个星期五，本区队员分别前往 Unico Sport Day 及思朴华小运动会，为两场运动活动提供急救站岗及现场医疗支援服务🚑❤️

运动场上充满活力与欢呼声，而我们的队员也坚守岗位，随时准备为参与者提供必要的急救协助，让各项活动能够安全、顺利地进行。

Last friday, our team members were stationed at Unico Sport Day and SJKC Bukit Siput Sports Day, providing first aid standby and on-site medical support for both sporting events🚑❤️

The sports fields were filled with energy, excitement and cheers, while our team members remained at their posts, ready to provide first aid assistance whenever needed, ensuring the events could be carried out safely and smoothly.

🚑 Perkongsian Ilmu Pertolongan Cemas ❤️
🚑 分享急救知识，共同守护安全 ❤️

Semalam, pihak kami telah dijemput oleh pihak sekolah untuk memberikan ceramah Pertolongan Cemas sempena Perkhemahan Perpaduan Antarabangsa (IUC).

Program ini disertai oleh seramai 200 peserta dari pelbagai sekolah, termasuk pelajar dari luar negara. 🌏

Melalui perkongsian ini, para peserta diperkenalkan kepada asas Pertolongan Cemas serta tindakan yang betul ketika menghadapi situasi kecemasan.

Terima kasih kepada pihak sekolah atas jemputan dan kepercayaan, serta semua peserta atas penyertaan yang aktif! ❤️🚑

昨日，本区受校方邀请，前往 Perkhemahan Perpaduan Antarabangsa (IUC)，为营会参与者进行急救知识分享与讲座。

本次活动共有多达 200位来自不同学校的参与者，当中也有来自国外的学生参与。🌏

通过这次分享，让参与者认识基本急救知识及正确的应急处理方式，在紧急情况下能够更冷静、更有效地提供协助。

🚑【公共服务｜关帝圣君百年香火盛大游行】❤️

8月4日，本区受昔加末天龙宫邀请，为关帝圣君百年香火盛大游行提供急救站岗服务。

队员们全程跟随游行队伍，随时准备应对突发状况，为善信、参与者及工作人员提供急救保障，确保大家顺利完成游行。

感谢主办单位的信任与邀请，让我们有机会继续为社区服务，守护每一场活动的安全。

🚑 Public Duty | Temple Procession❤️

On 4 August, our Area was invited by Segamat Tien Leng Keng Temple to provide first aid standby services for the Guan Di Sheng Jun Centennial Sacred Flame Grand Procession.

Our members accompanied the procession throughout the entire route, remaining on standby to respond to any emergencies and provide first aid assistance to devotees, participants, and event personnel, ensuring the procession was carried out safely and smoothly.

We sincerely thank the organiser for their trust and invitation, allowing us to continue serving the community and safeguarding the safety of every event.

🚑【连续两天公共服务，为参与者安全保驾护航】❤️

8月1日，本区受昔加末武吉仕砵华光宫邀请，为光华行夜间义跑提供急救站岗服务。

本次义跑活动旨在为华光宫扩建工程筹募经费，吸引了近400名跑者踊跃参与，现场气氛热烈，反应十分踊跃。我们的队员全程驻守现场，随时准备应对任何突发状况，为所有参与者提供及时的急救保障，确保活动能够安全、顺利地进行。

紧接着在8月2日，本区也受邀为南马区越野脚车循环交流会提供急救站岗服务。队员们坚守岗位，密切留意活动情况，以专业及认真的态度，为参赛者及工作人员提供医疗保障，让活动能够顺利完成。

感谢主办单位对圣约翰救伤机构的信任与邀请，也感谢所有队员牺牲休息时间，默默付出，为社区贡献一份力量。

🚑 Two Consecutive Days of Public Duty – Ensuring Safety at Community Events ❤️

On 1 August, our Area was honoured to be invited by Bukit Siput Hua Kwong Temple, Segamat to provide first aid standby services for the Hua Kwong Night Run.

The charity run was organised to raise funds for the expansion of the temple and attracted nearly 400 participants. With an enthusiastic response and a lively atmosphere, our members remained on standby throughout the event, ready to respond to any emergencies and provide immediate first aid assistance, ensuring the event was conducted safely and smoothly.

On 2 August, our Area was once again entrusted to provide first aid standby services for the SMB Funride 2026. Our members stayed alert throughout the programme, providing medical coverage for participants and organisers to ensure the event concluded safely and successfully.

We sincerely thank the organisers for their trust and confidence in St. John Ambulance Malaysia. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our members for sacrificing their personal time to serve the community with dedication and professionalism.

🚑 At St. John Ambulance Malaysia, we are committed not only to providing first aid services but also to safeguarding every event, allowing everyone to participate with peace of mind.
