This fun activity may look simple, but it helps build so many important skills for children with autism:
π Improves balance and body coordination π§ Enhances focus, concentration, and attention span β Develops fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination π¦Ά Strengthens core muscles and postural stability π€ Encourages bilateral coordination (using both sides of the body together) π Builds confidence, patience, and problem-solving skills π― Promotes better body awareness (proprioception), which supports everyday learning and movement.
Every peg placed and every careful step taken is another milestone in their developmental journey. π We are so proud of our little superstars for giving their best and never giving up! ππ
At Phoenix Autism Intervention Care Centre, we believe that learning through play creates meaningful progressβone activity at a time. β€οΈπ§©
