•Senarai di bawah adalah senarai profesion secara umum yang berkelayakan dalam bidang Psikologi (Pakar Paediatrik, Pakar Psikiatri adalah di bawah bidang Perubatan, namun profesion ini seringkali bekerjasama rapat dengan profesion dalam senarai bagi isu-isu perkembangan & psikologi)

•Diagnosis hanya boleh dilakukan oleh ahli klinikal seperti Ahli Psikologi Klinikal, Pegawai Perubatan Pediatrik, Pakar Psikiatri berdasarkan senarai dinyatakan

•Pakar Psikiatri (bagi isu dewasa) manakala Pakar Psikiatri Kanak-Kanak & Remaja (bagi isu kanak-kanak & remaja)

•Terapis Cara Kerja & Terapis Pertuturan adalah dua bidang yang berbeza namun merupakan antara ahli bagi mengendalikan isu-isu perkembangan kanak-kanak sehingga dewasa

•Kenyataan ini bertujuan memberikan pendedahan umum kepada ibu bapa, pendidik serta masyarakat awam untuk mengenali profesion yang terlibat dalam mengenalpasti isu atau melakukan diagnosis, mengendalikan sesi intervensi serta memberikan pendidikan psikologi kepada klien melalui konsultasi, ceramah serta latihan di Malaysia

Psikologi Perkembangan adalah salah satu cabang dalam bidang psikologi yang membantu manusia memahami perkembangan diri, mengenal pasti krisis perkembangan yang memberi impak kepada kesejahteraan psikologi serta membantu klien memilih hala tuju pemulihan yang sesuai dan seterusnya membantu merujuk kepada pakar yang berkenaan.
