On 21st May 2026, Oncode had the privilege of conducting a CME session with the Respiratory Department at Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah, UiTM Puncak Alam, on the topic "Advancing Lung Cancer Care Through Molecular Testing."
The session provided an in-depth comparison of PCR and NGS technologies, highlighting their respective strengths in the molecular profiling of lung cancer for accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment selection.
We also introduced our latest upgraded NGS panels, discussing their clinical applications and how expanded genomic coverage can support more comprehensive patient management.
A key focus of the discussion was the importance of robust validation processes and quality control frameworks, ensuring the precision, sensitivity, and reliability required in molecular diagnostics.
The session concluded with engaging discussions around real-world case studies, showcasing significant findings uncovered through NGS testing and the growing role of tissue and liquid biopsy applications in modern cancer care.
Thank you to the Respiratory Department team at Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah, UiTM Puncak Alam, for the insightful exchange and shared commitment to advancing precision oncology.
