Tibialis Posterior Tendonitis
Tibialis posterior tendonitis is an overuse injury that affects the tendon running along the inside of the ankle and foot. This tendon plays an important role in supporting the arch and stabilizing the foot during walking and running.
The condition often develops due to repetitive strain, flat feet, sudden increases in activity, or prolonged standing or walking. Common symptoms include pain and swelling along the inner ankle, foot fatigue, arch pain, and difficulty walking or running.
One of the stretches you can perform to alleviate this pain is to use a towel and place it on the forefoot as shown in the photo. Gently pull your feet towards you till you feel a stretch on your calf. Hold this stretch for 10 seconds and perform it for 5 repetitions
