When You Need Me, I’ll Be There 🤍
This morning, we completed my father-in-law’s final farewell. 🤍
I thought I would finally have half a day to rest before starting tomorrow’s preparations for the days of memorial rites ahead, along with a few matters that still needed to be taken care of for my father-in-law.
But just as I got home this afternoon and was about to freshen up and rest, my phone rang....
“My colleague’s husband just passed away at the hospital. She doesn’t really know anyone here. Could you help her arrange his funeral?”
After speaking with the wife, I immediately changed, picked up my things, and headed out.
Because to me, being in the funeral service industry has never been just a job.
Behind every funeral is a family facing one of the most difficult moments of their lives — overwhelmed, heartbroken, and often unsure of what to do next.
And sometimes, all they need is someone to step forward and say,
“Don’t worry. I’m here. Let me help you through this.”
Just hours ago, I was saying goodbye to my own family member.
A few hours later, I was standing beside another family, helping them through their goodbye.
Perhaps this is the meaning behind what I do.
When you need me, no matter the time or place,
I will be there. 🤍
May every person who leaves this world be given a peaceful and dignified final journey.
And may those who remain never have to face their hardest moments alone.
Life will eventually come to an end, but the final journey deserves to be handled with dignity, compassion, and warmth.

有一种坚持，叫「你需要我时，我一定在」
家公的人生毕业典礼，今早圆满完成了。🤍
原以为终于可以让自己好好休息半天，明天再开始准备接下来马拉松式拜祭所需要的祭品，还有家公生前留下的一些事情需要处理。
下午回到家，才刚准备梳洗、休息一下，电话就响了。
「我同事的老公刚刚在医院离世了，她在这里没有认识什么朋友，你可以去帮忙处理她老公的后事吗？」
电话那头，是一个无助的家属。
于是，和太太联系后，我没有想太多，换上衣服，马上出发。
因为我一直相信——
殡葬服务，从来不只是一份工作。
我们面对的，是一个家庭突然失去至亲后的无助、慌乱与不知所措。
而我能做的，就是在他们最需要的时候，替他们多承担一点、多跑一步、多想一件事。
刚刚才送别自己的家人，转身又去陪伴另一个家庭走过人生最难的一段路。
也许这就是我的工作，也是我选择这份工作的意义。
当你需要我的时候，
无论什么时间，无论什么地点，
只要我能做到，我一定会在你身边。 🤍
愿每一位离开的人，都能安然走完最后一程；
愿留下的人，在最无助的时候，有人伸出手，有人陪着走。
人生终有一别，而我们负责的，是让这最后一程，走得安心、有尊严，也有温度。
