A 49-year-old patient presented with three symptomatic uterine fibroids measuring 7 cm, 6 cm, and 5 cm. She experienced heavy menstrual bleeding, abdominal distension, and dysmenorrhea. A 49-year-old woman with multiple uterine fibroids presented with heavy menstrual bleeding, abnormal uterine bleeding, urinary frequency, and bowel symptoms. She had been under long-term follow-up at another institution with persistent symptoms.

Following comprehensive assessment, the patient was deemed suitable for non-invasive High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) therapy and underwent treatment at Annan Hospital.

The procedure was completed without complication. At three-month follow-up, the patient reported significant symptomatic improvement, particularly resolution of abnormal uterine bleeding, with additional improvement in urinary and bowel symptoms. Overall functional status and quality of life demonstrated clinically meaningful improvement post-treatment.

A woman with a long-standing history of uterine fibroids presented with significant symptom burden, including menorrhagia, secondary anemia, and severe dysmenorrhea, resulting in impaired sleep, reduced work performance, and decreased quality of life. The condition had persisted for several years despite conservative management.

Following comprehensive consultation on available surgical and non-surgical treatment options, the patient elected to undergo non-invasive uterine-preserving therapy using the PRO High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) system at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital.

The procedure was completed without complication. Post-treatment recovery was rapid, with early ambulation and progressive resumption of normal activities. The patient was able to return to shift work within two weeks and resume resistance training within one month. Clinical follow-up demonstrated marked improvement in menstrual volume, dysmenorrhea, anemia-related symptoms, and overall functional status, with a sustained improvement in quality of life.

A 48-year-old woman with a 5–6 year history of uterine fibroids demonstrated gradual enlargement (~1 cm/year) and developed pressure-related symptoms, including urinary frequency, nocturia, and abdominal protrusion. After evaluation, minimally invasive surgical options were considered; however, hysterectomy was recommended.

The patient underwent non-invasive uterine-preserving treatment using the PRO High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) system at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital. Post-treatment, immediate symptomatic improvement was observed, with no requirement for prolonged bed rest and early resumption of daily activities.
