Glaucoma – The Silent Thief of Sight 👁

One of the most common effects of glaucoma is the “silent” loss of vision, where peripheral (side) vision gradually fades while central vision remains relatively preserved.

Because this occurs slowly and without pain, many people may not notice the changes until vision loss has already become advanced.

Glaucomatous optic nerve damage is irreversible, making early detection and timely treatment is critical to preserve sight.
