To stand upon the crest of Big Daddy, the loftiest dune in all the earth, was as though I had set foot upon some distant and unearthly world.
Towering above the ancient Namib Desert, where crimson sands embrace the pale clay pan of Deadvlei, this wondrous place hath been shaped by the ceaseless winds through countless ages.
Each step upon the yielding sand seemed without end, yet when at last I gained the summit and beheld the endless sea of dunes stretching beyond the horizon, the sight did fill my heart with awe and wonder beyond measure 🫰🫰
